To provide a structured, consistent approach to our programs at unit level our community investment is guided by social policy and corporate social responsibility policy that is aligned to the Vedanta sustainability standards and strategy. Giving due importance to the opinions of our stakeholders we have stakeholder engagement and community consultation standards which provide us exposure to the concerns of the community at large and bring in suitable alterations in our modus operandi so as to address their genuine needs and concerns. We will seek to make progress towards an overall improvement in the quality of life of the local communities via programs in the areas of health, livelihood, education and skill development, and bio-investment. Need based Programs shall be implemented on self-sustainable model basis so as to encourage participation, partnership and ownership among the targeted beneficiaries as well as other stakeholders.
